QuestionWhat are the measurements for the rough opening needed?

- Answer Hello Beth! The cutout dimensions needed are: Cutout Depth (in) 19 13/16, Cutout Height (in) 4 3/4 Cutout Width (in) 28 5/16, and Cutout Width Max (in) 28 7/8. QuestionI'm buying this to replace a stand alone electric cooktop that just sits on my kitchen counter (ie can be moved around if I want to...just unplug it and lift it up!) Is this model like that or MUST it be resting inside/underneath the counter?

QuestionJUST BOUGHT ONE OF THESE AND THE RED LIGHT THAT INDICATES BURNER IS OWN JUST FELL BACK IN TO THE STOVE.. HOW DO I GET IT OUT OR GO ABOUT GETTING ANOTHER. STOVE IS 1 MONTH OLD.

QuestionWhat is that silver piece in the middle of the burner for can it be removed and why does the burner goes down after reaching the highest point I don't like it especially when I am frying it throws the flow of frying off it is offer what can I do

- Answer I think it’s some sort of sensor and they are faulty. I bought universal burner elements off Amazon and that fixed my issues of the burners cooling down. The new burners cook beautifully!
