“What are the knobs made of? Do you push down before you can move to heat? what are shaft knobs shaft made of?”

• Knobs are plastic. You have to push them down to turn them as I believe is a requirement for all newly manufactured stove tops. Shafts are steel.

• Knobs are stainless steel. Yes you slightly push down & turn knob to desired heat level.
