I am likely going to return this hood. I bought it today and it does not come with the charcoal filters. They are about $51 and will need to be replaced every 6 months with normal use. Too expensive!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This comes with the metal filters which many range hoods come with that can be cleaned and re-used. Whirlpool sells some charcoal filters for their range hoods but they are expensive and I don't know about their efficacy...also I don't know if they make them to fit this specific range hood or not. This would be something you would need to investigate.
