QuestionI need the height of the cooking surface - NOT the height of the whole appliance.Dear Andre W. I assume the 47 1/8 height includes the control panel that sticks up behind the cooking surface. I don't care about that, I have plenty of wall space above the range. I need to know if the cooking surface is higher than my countertops.

- Answer Dear Consumer: The cooktop height is provided below per the dimensions guide: 35³⁄₄" ± 1/8" cooktop height (minimum) with leveling legs screwed all the way in. - Answer I cooked a 19 pound turkey and some extra room. I am sure about a 24 pound turkey would fit.

- Answer Stainless steel to is better. The enamel gets food baked on and is hard to remove.

QuestionIs the price worth the energy savings?The oven costs a lot. However, I am assuming there is energy savings to your utility bill because you may not be using as much heat when only using one of the ovens. Also, it may not heat up the kitchen as much, perhaps more savings. My question is: Do you "re-coup" the cost of the oven by the energy savings after a few years? Is it really worth the cost?
