“i now have a downdraft vent. now using lp gas hookup. Is this compatible. will venting down be a problem”

• We did have a downdraft cooktop before upgrading with this one and we haven't bought or install the new downdraft that it's compatible with this new cooktop yet, we wanted to try without a downdraft for a couple of weeks to see if it's really necessary or not to spend around $1300 for the downdraft. But so far, after a week of cooking, everything is going well.
