. Can I use my front load whirlpool base this machine? null

Hi Bren, the pedestal needed for this Washer is XHPC155XW. We can not be sure your pedestal for your other Washer will work for this one. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!

Using a base from an older machine may or may not work well since: 1. It would need to be of a size to fully support the new machine, 2. The feet of the new washer (or drier) must fit in the base in a way that the new machines can be leveled, 3. The washer (or drier) and base need to be screwed together to keep vibrations from separating them (a new matching base satisfies all three of these) and 4. Cosmetically, a new matching base is made with the same shape and paint color of the new washer or drier (when our daughter saw our new washer/drier and their matching bases, she said "Wow! They're beautiful!". The new matching bases not only work well with the washer and drier, but also looks good together.. If you still want to try using your older base, perhaps you should contact Whirlpool with your old model number washer, drier and bases and ask Whirlpool of they would fit together -or- make a template of your base and take it (or better yet take your base) to Best Buy and see if the salesman can match it up with the new machine and tell you if it would work. If you take the actual base, you will also see if the color and shape matches well enough for you.
