• Hello Mary, the drain house is 4', if you need a longer one, we do have a drain hose extension kit, 285863. We hope this helps.

• Since the water outlet is on the right (facing machine ) the drain hose is too short if your stand pipe is on the left . My husband was able to clamp the new drain hose inside our existing drain hose to solve the problem . Home Depot sells a longer hose if you prefer .
