“Washer stopped mid cycle. Had to unplug to reset now it won’t start a load”

I had this same problem on the 2nd day of having it (2nd week of owning it today) but I had to unplug & change the wash cycle I chose press play, let it start then press pause to switch back to original cycle then it started. But I’m having to wash each load 2/3.. Due to low water.. dirty clothes & liquid laundry detergent (gain) still in the clothes after the “Done” cycle.
