no the machine is ruled a little bit lower than others so my mom gets in there pulls it out like nothing real simple just squeeze and turn and it releases fine. It’s real handy and it’s worth it.

I do have to clean it out every so often because lint does kind of sit there but easy to do. I don't use traditional fabric softener but it offers a pause button so you can put it in whenever you want. It does have status lights so know where it is at in the process. Still doing great! Family of 5 and we use it every day (sometimes multiple times a day). Would definitely buy another one.
