• Hello Kathy, I put liquid sanitizer in we’re the detergent goes not in the fabric softener dispenser and have not had any problems. Try it out and see if that solves your problem! DAPSR

• Hi Kathy, the dispenser may need to be cleaned out. Please refer to page 10 of the Owner's manual that came with your unit for instructions on how to clean the dispenser, to see if that alleviates the issue.
