• No I use regular liquid tide. Love my new machine. Works well for me.

• You would be hard pressed to find a detergent for sale today that is not HE compliant. Of course it is. They pretty much stopped making detergent go suds crazy years ago. It was all for effect anyways, marketing. Yes. Or you will have worthless bubbles spilling out everywhere.
