“I have a HE washer and I am needing to know if you can use a non HE pretreater from a bottle and spray on your clothes without it harming the washer. Is there any whirlpool washers that is non HE we have the one with the removable agitator.”

Yes, I keep my pretreating station container filled with apple dawn soap. It works great on pretreating stains.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi AK, all new machines are HE. That being said, you can use pretreatment detergent in those as long as it's directly on the clothing. Be sure to run the "Clean Washer" cycle every 30th load to insure that any residue is cleared. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly if you have any further questions!
