- Answer Yes, I use liquid detergent and dump it on my clothes and start the Wash. There is an area/compartment I believe on the left side of the washer to place the detergent. There is a video on line if you google this washer it will show you.

- Answer Make sure the machine is perfectly leveled. There is a section in the installation manual about this. There are two places to put a level to check and then you can adjust the feet to make it perfect. My install technicians did not do this step. It helps with noise ALOT as the machine get's off-balance.
