A:Answer I had the same problem with the cooktop. Almost immediately it had a ring around the burner that would not come off. It was very hard to keep clean. I also used Weiman's and that didn't work at all. I tried everything, I didn't use cast iron pans, I have no idea why it was permanently stained. It would be good if Whirlpool would address this problem because I know I'm not the only one having this issue.
