“I just literally had this stove delivered and turned on the oven to test it out, and there's a lot smoke and strong odor coming from the oven and the top of the range. Is this normal? I don't want this happening every time I use the oven.”

Very normal for first time use, mine did the same for the first few times to b exact.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We had our Whirlpool stove delivered and the installer turned on the oven and all the burners to High and instructed to leave it that way for an hour. I presume it was to burn off any manufacturing residue.
