What is the spacing of the bars of the grate? Do the bars center on the burners or are they either side of the burners? My consern is will small pans with a 4 1/2" foot print be tippy? null

Bar spacing is 1 5/8. No your pot would not be tippy. You can center the pot directly over the burner. The grate is great. I LOVE this oven!!
