“is the lid glass?”

• The lid seems to be glass...it's definitely some type of unbreakable glass or heavy-duty glass. I'm not an expert on "glass"...just know that the lid is pretty and appears to be very sturdy and safe from breakage. It leaves me with no concern. Also, it cleans beautifully.
