QuestionWhat is the meaning of the HC appearing on the panel?Submitted by Joseph Westner 11/';22.2014 My wife passed away and I cannot locate the operating manual. It appears the cycle is complete but the HC appears now. This has happened several times.

- Answer Here are the "error codes" from my manual. By the way, I believe the whirlpool website has manuals available free of charge. oL = overloaded uL = unbalanced load LF = too long to fill HC = hot and cold hoses reversed...have the hoses been disconnected and reconnected in reverse lately? Sd = excess suds dL = lid cannot lock lid = lid opened dU = lid cannot unlock F## = system error code
