• Dear Customer: This washer requires the use of only High Efficiency detergents. The package will be marked “HE” or High Efficiency.” Low-water washing creates excessive sudsing with a non-HE detergent. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. • Yes, with all High-Efficiency washing machines you would need to purchase a special detergent specifically for the High-Efficiency machine.
