QuestionDoes the 32-3/4" depth include the metal hose connectors?They jut out from the body of the washer, requiring about 3 extra inches of clearance (see photo).

The package will be marked “HE” or High Efficiency.” Low-water washing creates excessive sudsing with a non-HE detergent. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. QuestionStackable front load dryer with this washerCan I use my current Maytag Neptune dryer and stack on to this washer by whirlpool with the stack kit. My old Maytag washer is finally done, thankfully, but the gas dryer still works great, trying to save a buck and just get a new washer.

QuestionI have been making my own laundry detergent for my old washer, will this work in my new Whirlpool Duet front loader?My detergent contains washing soda,borax,and fels napfa soap It does not suds much at all.

- Answer This washer requires "HE" designated detergents. I would only use those to ensure my machine lasts as long as possible and does not get damaged by some unknown combination of chemicals The detergent, bleach and softeners are dispensed automatically during the cycling and if these ports get clogged, they will not work properly.
