Q: QuestionDoes the fan turn off as well as the condenser when it reaches desired humidity?

Q: Questioncan you pre-set the humidity % level and then when the machine reaches that - IT WILL AUTOMATICIALLY SHUT OFF AND CONVERSELY TURN ON IF THE HUMIDITY INCREASES ABOVE YOUR SET LEVEL ?? I DO NOT WANT A CONTINUOUS RUNNING UNIT

• A:Answer Yes you can do that with one caveat. Let’s say you set 50%; the machine turns on at about 55% and runs until it gets to 45%. Older analog dehumidifiers probably worked in the same manner, the user just wasn’t aware of it because there was no digital display. There are also three preset conditions.
