Hi Eddd, Thanks a lot for your question! Typically, the carbon filter should be replaced about once a month, but it really depends on how often your kitties use the Litter-Robot. You might find that you need to change it more or less frequently depending on how many kitties are using the unit, how often they use it, or any health concerns that might mean changing it sooner. Just take a look at the carbon filter—if it smells a bit off, looks dirty, or it’s been over a month since the last change, it’s probably time to replace it.
