Hello Mumof2, The Litter-Robot 4's waste drawer was designed with a bit of a slant so it fills up without too much piling up in the center. However, with your diabetic cat's waste, we would suggest occasionally removing the drawer and shaking it so it evens out better. Thank you, Whisker
