Whoop 5.0 (MG) will generally work in Ukraine. The Whoop device itself tracks physiological data (like heart rate, sleep, and recovery) and relies solely on Bluetooth to sync this data to the app on a paired smartphone. Since it doesn't use cellular service or GPS to function, the core tracking capabilities are global. As long as the user has an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) on their phone to sync the data and view their insights, the device will operate. The only potential restriction relates to medically regulated features, such as the Heart Screener with ECG (available on the Life tier). These specific, advanced features require regulatory clearance and are not available in every region globally, though core metrics like Strain, Recovery, and Sleep are always available. Since the device and membership are typically purchased internationally, the recipient in Ukraine should have no issue activating and using the Whoop 5.0 for its primary function.
