Thanks for your question! If you purchase a Family Plan, the devices are not connected to each other in terms of data or tracking. Each person has their own WHOOP account, device, and private data. Every member sets up their device individually by pairing it to their own phone and account during onboarding. The Family Plan only connects accounts for billing and management purposes, not for device pairing or data sharing.
