Can I used it without the hoses null

Running without the hoses will cause the exhaust port to introduce extremely hot/humid air back into the area your trying to cool. Doing so will totally defeat the cooling process and the chore of not having to empty a drain pan.

You can use it with only one hose if you wish.

Phill, This unit cannot be operated without the hoses. When using the air conditioner, the hot air from the exhaust hose must be exhausted out of the room to complete the air exchange of the condenser.
