How long is the window bracket? null

Maximum extension on the bracket is ~46".

Horizontally it should cover a standard window. I have slider windows and vertically mounted it did not cover the gap. I purchase a sheet of 3/4 inch solid insulation foam from a hardware store to make up the difference. Easy, all you need is a straight edge and a good sharp knife to cut the foam with.

It adjusts with a second piece, so its whatever you need it to be. It fits inside each other to slide.
