It is approx. 20" x 6.5". It does appear that it could be cut down to about 15" without issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The bracket is 20 inches, but it is plastic and can be cut. There is enough room to remove 1 inch without impacting the holes. Once it is cut the edge will not look as nice as the other end, but probably not too bad.

I have a contractor coming the first weerk of May to do install. He ha measurements and is cutting a clear piece of plex-glass to allow light into window. I will speak to him about specifics but I can tell you my window is also short- no more than 15" wide and he says it will fit no problem. Sorry I cant be more specific -I will post something when installed. Thank you.
