This item does not include a drain hose. The air conditioner uses the patented auto drain or self-evaporative technology which exhausts condensation automatically in most environments. Please note that if the humidity is very high, the auto drain function will still exhaust the majority of the moisture. The remaining moisture will be collected in the water tank at the base of the air conditioner and continue to self-evaporate until the tank becomes full and requires manual drainage.

Please try again later.I never saw a drain tube but then I haven't really looked for the pan. It was so hot I just put it to work right away. I remember reading that it likes to use the condensate moisture to make the unit even more efficient. I believe it uses the moisture to further cool the condenser somehow. Only in the most humid conditions should you need to drain the pan. I believe there is an access port on the back to allow draining. It will tell you when it needs drained.
