I have had it for 2 weeks and never had to drain it. It works great. I bought a LG prior and when it arrived it said the water was full out of the box. Never worked so I switched to this brand and I am glad I did. I have never heard of the brand so was nervous but now that I have it I am pleased. I would by it again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had any issues with mine and the weather I was running it in was Michigan HOT. However, the unit does not produce the amount of cold I think it should so if you are shopping around, I would keep shopping.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The water is evaporated by hot exhaust which is a nice feature. I have never had to drain water and none appears as liquid at exhaust hose outlet. However, manual states that it will shut down if water accumulates in a very high humidity situation. Then the unit can be drained manually to resume running. Beware that drain is at bottom and a low height pan would be needed to drain.
