Water is vaporized by the hot exhaust and does not drip out the exhaust. In very high humidity, manual states it will shut off if a high level accumulates in a pan at the bottom of the unit. This pan then has to be manually drained (may not be an easy task since it is at bottom of unit) before unit will run again.
