• A:Answer This vent hood needs a a separate installation kit when there is no exterior ventilation. The Best Buy website fails to prompt us to add that kit in the basket, and when the vent hood is delivered to the house, it cannot be installed and they take it back. That is what happened to us too. The Best Buy is not updated to show we need to buy a specific kit when there is no exterior ventilation.

• A:Answer It should be for both, since it states "Convertible Range Hood". However, what the Best Buy website failed to prompt, is that a special installation kit is needed when there is no exterior ventilation. That kit is not included, and and the range hood cannot be installed without it when there is no exterior ventilation. The Best Buy installer had to take it back and tell us to ask for a refund, because they read the manual and realized they didn't have the separate installation kit.
