In what order do the filters go in the unit null

The first filter to install is the HEPA. This goes furthest in. Then place your carbon filter in front of it. Last will be the screen filter. Then you can put the cover back on. I recommend vacuuming the exterior cover, then the screen filter (you will be amazed at how much dust it will collect), then your carbon filter. When the carbon filter changes from a dark charcoal color to a light gray, replace it. Same for the HEPA. It starts out white, then as time goes on it will become dark gray.

Hello Beth, The order should be true HEPA (white filter) should be agaisnt the fan, the carbon filter in front of it and then the pre filter.
