According to Samsung Customer Support - the 2500 series keyboard is only compatible with Samsung TV models 6500 and higher. This does contradict the enclosed document with Compatibility chart, but I believe them - I've spent at least 6 hours the past two days trying to make it work on a new 6400 model without success. But I would call Samsung Customer Support before purchase to be certain. 800-726-7864
