I purchased the keyboard a few weeks ago and i cant use the actual keys to type in anything, like if i want to search something on youtube, usually i cant just type it in. But not here, i have to use the dpad to chose the letters. I was 4 days past my warranty and the guy from geeksquad said he cant help me...... I hope its just something im not doing right. Otherwise i bought a huge 100dllr remote

I was going to get another brand, but when an associate walked up, I asked him if it would work with my tv. He said no (to my surprise). Turns out there was a Samsung keyboard. I find that it's convenient to have it, not only for navigating the apps, but as a second remote (since the other half doesn't give it up). One thing that I could not get to work (could be me) is the play/stop buttons for when you are watching something using an app. They do work on the remote that came with the tv, so there must be a way. Setup to the tv was relatively easy, although I had to navigate to a setting on the tv. Keyboard has on/off switch.

I bought this for my smart tv, but the keyboard is over simplified. it does the basics as expected. but, the apps on the tv are not setup to take the input from the additional keys on the keyboard. so, for example, you can only use the 4 arrow keys to select letters - no actual typing. supported. other things are there and functional, but less used while watching content on the tv. Also, the corresponding remote control functions are a little less than complete when compared to the tv remote that came with the tv. Again, simple things are missing...for instance, no return/go back button, which does exist on the original remote. So, this is an average value purchase.

I love this keyboard. It is so convenient to type on screen. Easily links to the TV. My only issue is that the finger pad is a little tricky sometimes with switching from typing to the pad and back but would be a five star product if I could figure that part out.

Though it is not compatible with all smart tv apps, it works well with the tv and is much easier and faster to use than the tv remote when surfing the net or using your smart tv as a alternative to laptop to watch YouTube videos.

I bought this so entering that entering would be easy. What I found out is that the keyboard only seems to work with the web browser. I have tried to use it to enter my logins for Netflix,Amazon Video, Etc. and it does not work. All of the remote control features work all of the time it's just the QWERTY portion does not only with web browsing a little disappointing. For me it should work on any imputing of text. Size is good and it is built well

I bought this because I bought the new suhd tv and it came with a silly smart remote. This keyboard works just like the smart remote but with a full keyboard. If you're using your tv for YouTube or web surfacing or anything dealing typing. Then it might be worth it. as for me, it was a waste of money. It's big and operates the same. The keyboard doesn't benefit me.

I was annoyed using my remote control to type in movies or shows on YouTube and Netflix. I decided to purchase a keyboard to make this easier, as well as to utilize the Internet otherwise, via my new television. I first got a keyboard that was not compatible with my tv, using a Bluetooth connection. Went back and picked this little keyboard up. Although I haven't had a chance to mess around with it as much as I'd like yet, it seems to work well. I do not like the fact that there were no instructions to assist with setting up, as it's made things a bit complicated, but I am sure I can figure it out eventually. Great deal for the price.

I returned before I even open for try. For $100 it is too expensive. Also we upgrade our TV from 55" 7000series to 65" 8500 series, which come with a laser pointed remote control, do the job.

I bought this to expand the capability of my js9500. I wanted all the bells and whistles after buying this tv. It works better than some of the reviews depict. I assume they didn't have the right tv, and/or didn't know what's up. I'm guessing they didn't have the right tv. This thing works fabulously. It has a mouse and all the controls of the remote. I search YouTube as one review says it didn't work, it does for me. I have tried to work some non Samsung equipment, although it does change the channel from uverse without issue. I have a 4K up scaling Samsung DVD player, and the magnolia sound bar that matches the tv. The only sight annoying thing is everytime its touched, a little box comes on the bottom of the screen saying it's connected. That's it. I would recommend this if you like searching for online stuff using your tv. Best wishes.

Pros: Gives you true qwerty keyboard instead of fumbling with the tv remote. Is a complete remote on it's own. Has its own power on/off control. Cons: The touch pad sucks.

I purchased this wireless keyboard to enter data and info into our Samsung smart tv's. It worked very well with 2 of them, the 3rd (oldest model) was not compatible. The 2 systems it did work on were very good, connected easily and made searches and entry of information much easier then using the remote to input. Overall I'm pleased.

I purchased this keyboard so that I might be able to surf the internet on my Samsung TV. The keyboard works fine, but the service through the Samsung TV is poor. I assume they are running everything through their own servers, so it is slow to respond and the keyboard is not designed to help with that. It is like getting a keyboard for a computer that is connected to poor internet service. Have only used it twice since 30 days.

Setup was very simple for the keyboard with the new Samsung 4K TV. I like how I can use it to browse the web quickly - using the remote works, but it very cumbersome. Stores well, too.

Recently, I purchased a smart tv, but the only thing not smart about it was the onscreen typing. Up arrow, left arrow, right arrow, click, click, click, tedious to say the least. I was walking through Best Buy, as I passed the tv section, saw an employee and asked if there happened to be a keyboard for smart TV's. Lo and behold, now in Netflix, searching is faster and easier, and the keyboard also operates as a tv remote controller as well!

The keyboard does not work with every app when you need to search. For example it works for Netflix I can type what I am looking for, not HULU I can only use the arrow keys. moreover I would like if the keyboard lit up un the dark.

i bought this as an open box item, and its great. works with all of our other samsung smart tv's. it's like having one remote for all our tv's. makes searching for something on netflix really easy

Product is good, I am sure. What I should have done first was ensure it was compatible with my Samsung Smart TV model. It wasn't and I had to return it. Will have to investigate other options.

The sales person and info on the box said it would work, it did not. When I returned it, the manager explained the sales person should have known better and directed me to the compatible keyboard, for a significantly lower price. I love Samsung products, but not the confusing packaging and info. Make sure you talk to the right person before purchase!
