QuestionI am looking at having a rear view camera and two side blind spot cameras on my truck using the Metra Rear View Camera Interface Adapter. Does this mean 3 camera installs? I have Total Tech, will my install be $15.00? I am supplying ALL parts.

- Answer I purchased the "wireless" model, but the monitor plugged into the 12-volt plug, & the camera was spliced to the reverse light wire to power the camera. The wireless component was from the camera to the monitor. The Best Buy installer was quick & efficient; although I consider myself a do-it- yourself individual, but after observing the installation, I was glad I didn't attempt it this time since the installation was a bit involved and didn't cost me anything extra; my Total Tech Support Subscription covered it.

- Answer Hi Milogti – Please reach out to your local store to discuss this with an Autotech to see if the particular setup you have in your vehicle will work with the camera you’ve selected, or if you’d need additional parts, or a new screen for it to work.

QuestionI have the equipment to install the cam on the back of my van and to connect it to a monitor wirelessly. Is this where you connect the cam with the provided wires to the van and as well you do connect the wireless wires to the monitor of my choice?

- Answer I purchased the product for my 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, and the kit came with both the monitor which plugs into the 12-volt socket, & the back-up camera splicing it to the reverse light wire to power the camera. My Geek Squad Total Tech Support purchase covered the cost of installation with no additional charge. Although I am a DIY person, after observing the installation by the Geek Squad technician, I'm glad I didn't attempt it since the installation was a bit more involved than I imagined.

- Answer I bought the Garmin BC 30 wireless backup camera. It transmits to my Garmin GPS. The camera mounts to my license plate. I had Best Buy install it but if you're handy you can probably DIY. The receiver is in the new power cord for my Garmin that comes with the backup camera. I have a 2000 Honda Accord. I'm actually selling the car since I bought a newer vehicle with a backup camera. BB doesn't charge to uninstall it and the new owner isn't interested in it.
