Hi there, the Video Doorbell Pro doesn't have a local storage but will save the event being recorded through the cloud. There are a few reasons why Wyze have not included this with the device: (1) Your doorbell is likely the only smart device that always lives outside and within arms-reach of anyone who walks up to it. (2) No matter how it's mounted, accessing your local storage (microSD card) would either be too difficult or too easy to do. (3) If a bad actor were to forcefully damage or steal your doorbell, you would lose potentially months of video recordings. (Even worse, the bad actor would have access to those videos.) (4) Videos saved to local storage aren't always accessible or easy to review. You may also check: (https://support.wyze.com/hc/en-us/articles/7822791664795). In terms of the cloud storage, once motion is being detected by the device it will record 6 to 12-second videos and store them in the cloud for a rolling 14 days for free. If you would want to have a longer event video, you may upgrade to Cam Plus for $1.99/month to receive real-time alerts when people or packages are detected, and store full-length videos in the cloud.
