• A:Answer Hi there, the Video Doorbell Pro doesn't have a local storage but will save the event being recorded through the cloud. There are a few reasons why Wyze have not included this with the device: (1) Your doorbell is likely the only smart device that always lives outside and within arms-reach of anyone who walks up to it. (2) No matter how it's mounted, accessing your local storage (microSD card) would either be too difficult or too easy to do. (3) If a bad actor were to forcefully damage or steal your doorbell, you would lose potentially months of video recordings. (Even worse, the bad actor would have access to those videos.) (4) Videos saved to local storage aren't always accessible or easy to review. You may also check: (https://support.wyze.com/hc/en-us/articles/7822791664795). In terms of the cloud storage, once motion is being detected by the device it will record 6 to 12-second videos and store them in the cloud for a rolling 14 days for free. If you would want to have a longer event video, you may upgrade to Cam Plus for $1.99/month to receive real-time alerts when people or packages are detected, and store full-length videos in the cloud. Q: QuestionHello, what kind of batteries does this take? And is or if rechargeable ones are acceptable for this product? Asking as I have blink and I keep having to change the batteries so often that I am annoyed with it. wondering if this would be a better option.

• A:Answer Hello there! The max range between your Wyze Video Doorbell Pro and chime varies. In an open and clear field, they can be up to 100 feet apart. If you have multiple walls, doors, and other structures between each device, then that optimal range will be smaller. If you are having connection issues with your Wyze Video Doorbell and Chime, please try moving the chime closer to your doorbell or relocating the chime to avoid metal obstacles or too many walls.
