“Hello, what kind of batteries does this take? And is or if rechargeable ones are acceptable for this product? Asking as I have blink and I keep having to change the batteries so often that I am annoyed with it. wondering if this would be a better option.”

Wyze pro wire-free doorbell is powered by internal, non-removable, lithium-ion batteries. The battery life is 3-6 months with normal use, and you can recharge the doorbell using the included USB cable.

I bought Duracell rechargeable batteries that I will use, to save on the bucks vs throwing away batteries. I tried the blink, and was going to try the ring, but the blink has a slow time to recognize when I am about town. Like 49 seconds to connect. The wyze connects in about 5 to 10 seconds, has better color and good resolution as well. I added one of the wyze ver 3 cameras, to view porch, it is awesome. I have 10 more cameras I will set up around the house, indoor and outdoor, as they are low cost and super easy to set up. Blink setup was a nightmare.
