I use a hotspot modem that I run from a SIM card from a cell phone plan, which is no where near as good as a normal internet/wifi connection, I have 2 TVs, 4 wyze cameras, 2 google speakers, 2 Xbox’s, a printer, 2 blink cameras, and a phone all running on it. I can still access my cameras when I’m away and home, it doesn’t interfere with it, sometimes I’ll get a buffer on the tv, the cameras still load quickly, satellite internet should work just fine.

You must have an internet connection to set up the camera and configure it with the Wyze app. Wyze Cam v3 is meant to work with an internet connection, which allows you to view the Live Stream, get notifications, and change your camera settings in the Wyze app. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to speak more about the product please reach out to our Wizards team (https://wyzelabs.zendesk.com/hc/en-us) so we may help. Thank you and have a great day!
