Hi. According to Wyze, each camera comes with a 110V power adapter and a 6-foot USB power cord. Wyze Cam v3 requires a USB cable that has a limit of 16 feet (5 meters). If you're using a USB cable length longer than 16 feet, there could be power delivery issues. It is wireless, but not cord-free. You have the option of using a MicroSD card for continuous recording, but it requires a cord to power it. If you do not wish to have a cord, I think Wyze has another camera released that is called the Wyze Outdoor Cam v2, but I do not know much about it. Based on reviews, I much prefer the Wyze Cam v3, but understand that it does not meet your usage case.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No-it’s NOT wireless. Not sure what it’s needed for, but a SUPER (solar is awesome) power bank comes in real handy. Other than that they are hard to find & don't function nearly as well as plugged in. Here’s the link to a wireless one I bought (& is no longer available) - haven’t really checked it, but at least it tells us there are options. No matter what, you’ll need a Micro-SD Card. Hope this helped! =)
