Thank you for your question. The night vision feature through glass or a window at night is not optimal. The camera emits 850nm infrared lights, which will be reflected by the window at night. The image will not be great in this situation, so it is not recommended. During the day, the infrared lights are not necessary and therefore there are no reflection issues. If you have additional questions, concerns, or would like to speak more about this please reach out to our Wizards team (https://wyzelabs.zendesk.com/hc/en-us) so we may help. Thank you and have a great day!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes there will be some glare but you can still see pretty well. The image quality will not be as good as it would be if you placed it outside, but you can still see. I can still see a person walking by and see some details about them. Make sure the window is cleaned regularly. It is helpful if there is lighting of some sort outside, such as a porch light left on or street light or motion light. By the way, you do not need to activate the night vision feature on the V3 cam. It comes with a built in type of night vision called Starlight (something or other). The photo ive included is the view through a glass door and an office gate.
