• It may work but the further away the picture will start having grainy issues. You can still see images but it's not clear enough due to the graininess to be able to really identify someone

• This depends entirely on the power of your routers antennas. You can always buy the camera and see if it works from that distance or buy a wifi extender if needed and return it if it does not meet your needs.
