Yes I have all four of mine at a window and it detects movement. It does quiet well for being inside just be aware of sun glare

The camera uses changes in the pixels of the image to detect motion, so it can sense motion through glass. However, the night vision feature through glass or a window at night is not optimal. The camera emits infrared lights, which will be reflected by the window at night. The image will not be great in this situation, so it is not recommended. During the day, the infrared lights are not necessary and therefore there are no reflection issues.
