- Answer Hello there! No, Wyze devices do not require a proprietary SD card. You can use any high-quality, Class 10 microSD card from reputable brands such as SanDisk, Samsung, or Kingston. However, we recommend using microSD cards with a capacity of 32GB and formatting them to FAT32 for optimal performance, especially for their cameras. - Answer Just 2.4, BUT nearly all 5g Wi-Fi routers/modems/meshes will automatically put it on a 2.4, so you would set up as normal.

- Answer No, this camera does not require a monthly subscription to work. You can even have person detection for free with the v3. Sign up for “cam plus lite” on the website, then add the camera to the plan via the app. You name your own price, and you can set it to $0. You can pay for services as well, which unlock even more features if you wanted.

- Answer Only digital zoom (pinch with your finger like a phone), but the quality isn’t great when zoomed. I’d recommend a v3 pro or the og telephoto if you need zoom.

- Answer The cord it comes with is about 5ft. I have one that is plugged in via a 50ft usb cable (had to buy separately) and it works fine.

- Answer Hello there! Your Wyze Cam is meant to work with an internet connection. The connection is what allows you to stream, get notifications, and change settings via the Wyze app. However, you can use a Wi-Fi network connection to set up and configure your Wyze Cam in the Wyze app. Once the camera is configured with a microSD card inserted and Local recording to microSD card turned on, the camera will continue to continuously record to the microSD card, even when it is offline. - Answer That description has some really cool features. But you don’t have to have a subscription. The cameras still have cool features without it. But If you don’t have a subscription, I highly recommend you get a high gigabyte SD card so you can play back all of the video and so forth.

- Answer Hi there! Yes, the Wyze Cam v3 can work with your iPhone. You can use the Wyze app, which is available for iOS devices, to set up and control your Wyze Cam v3. However, please note that Wyze Cam v3 does not support HomeKit or HomeKit Secure Video at this time. The Wyze app is compatible with iPhones running iOS 15.0 and above. You can download the Wyze app from the iOS App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/wyze-make-your-home-smarter/id1288415553). If your iPhone meets this requirement, you should be able to use the app without any issues.
