Probably, since it does have increased GPU memory (8GB) which means it needs to address system memory less often.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your graphics card is bad and you replace it with a different graphics card that isn't bad and your slot or motherboard isn't damaged and you have proper room to install the card in case and a good power supply to feed power to everything and have the 8 pin on video card plugged in and latest drivers installed then it should work fine. Before replacing your video card try removing it and cleaning it and reinstalling it first to fully determine it's a bad video card, in rare cases like this re-seating the video card back into the PCI express slot may help, hopefully, the motherboard isn't experiencing warping and the slot isn't damaged from over tightening screws and the video card or motherboard isn't cracked. Make sure before removing your old video card if you do replace it to uninstall your currently installed video cards drivers, and when you install the new video card drivers from the website listed in the paper in the box of the new video card that you choose the Factory Reset option that requires a restart, this will make sure old drivers are uninstalled and new drivers are freshly installed. As for the will it allow you to run games at higher FPS, it's hard to answer that question without knowing the current video card you have and what you intend to run on it and the settings. Generally, your game should be good enough to play, be responsive, smooth with low latency, and look good.
