Your question invites many follow on questions. If your grandchild asked for this graphics card, assume that he or she has researched the issue. Otherwise there are a lot of different dell computers and this obviously won't work in any laptop. One might also question the wisdom of putting a new graphics card in a rather old computer - the value of the card might be greater than the old computer. Absent a specific request, consider a discussion with your grandchild where you ask him/her more about their world. Or, consider a Best Buy gift card.
