MusicCast speakers or amplifiers might be your best choice to connect multiple rooms (working through WiFi). Party Mode should set them all to the same source.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased an 8 speaker selector switch from monoprice (< $30). What I did was hook up all zone 1 speakers in my living room (frt, frt sur, cent, sur, rear sur & sub - 9 total). I hooked them up as per diagram on pg 29 in manual except i ran 1 piece of 4 wire speaker wire from extra sp zone 2 on receiver to input on spkr switch. Then ran wires from switch to spkrs in all other rooms. (I put volume knobs in each room). You can control speakers with buttons on switch for zone 2. Note: my rear surrounds are ran from the switch in case i ever watch a movie in full surround. In this case i put turn them on at the switch and set the power amp assign to basic via remote > on screen > setup > speaker > manual setup > power amp assign > basic. Otherwise i keep the power amp assign set to 5.1.2 +1zone. That way you can watch tv in living room and someone else can listen to music in all other rooms (in this case i turn the rear sur off at switch so music doesn't play in living room. Hope this helps someone. This may sound complicated but it's not. Just using a switch to control zone 2 speakers on/off.
