• This is an inexpensive stereo receiver. It handles 2 sets of speakers, left and right only. Sound depends on the speakers. Very limited inputs. Designed to receive blue tooth and drive it to the speakers.

• yes you can connect up to 4 speakers. How good it will sound without a sub woofer is more related to the speakers you plan to connect. There is enough power to push your average home speaker well. I have 2 15 inch three ways, and they sound great.
