• This unit is better. They are having to compete in an extremely competitive budget-friendly soundbar market so theyre only choice was to jam features in for as cheap as possible.

• From reading independent (professional) reviews on the new 207 model, it appears that it is an improvement in sound reproduction over the older 203 model.. I have not tested the older model, but spent a bit of time researching the 207 and several reviewers specifically mentioned it was an improvement over the older model. I use the new 207 model in a 24x24 family room with a 65" TV and it works great. Strong, but not overpowering sound.
